Perfectly named, The Most Unlikely Place in Lewellen boasts a room full of local art and a unique experience that is highly unlikely in such a small Nebraska town. Lewellen is a town you've probably not heard of unless you're from the area. And yet here is this beautifully-decorated art gallery / cafe. Their menu changes regularly, but you can get on their mailing list if you're curious about what dishes might be served on a particular day. When I was there, we enjoyed pork tacos, but the other option was Tilapia. The art in the building ranges from wooden sculptures, carved by owner Rex Miller, and a variety of paintings and other unique findings. There are couches and chairs to sit and read at, and a piano that I'm told gets a lot of use. I highly recommend visiting this most unlikely place.
Very cute, worth a stop if you're in the area! The owners are kind, the atmosphere is pleasant and the art is worth a browse. Great food and drink options too! Very unique to this part of Nebraska
